The Institutional Repository is a service of the Universitätsbibliothek of the Freie Universität Berlin. Members of the FU can deposit their theses and dissertations (eTDs) and other scholarly works here within the framework of the Open Access Initiative.
FU members are encouraged to deposit their works in the repository regardless of whether they have already been published elsewhere. The Universitätsbibliothek undertakes to archive, index, and store the electronic documents on a permanent basis, and to ensure that they can be retrieved via library catalogues or search engines.
